DON FLIES TO BOSTON
On the Plane Don sat behind Bob Hope. while Bob was studying his
script Don read (over his shouler) "Davy Crockett isn' so good--shot
a bear when he was only three, anyone could shoot a three -year
old bear."
Dave B. GOES TO SUMMER SCHOOL
David makes many nice things in school. He bought a lunch pail to
put his lunch in. He takes milk money and some days he gets chocolate
milk.
LYNN LOSES TOOTH
Earl pulled Lynn's forth front tooth today, she has the typical
six year old grin. Two second teeth on bottom are in.
WANT ANY?
Lynn and Margaret caught frogs for pets but next morning they were
dead. Lynn cried. Earl caught some and went fishing with them but
he didn't catch any fish he just drounded frogs!
MARIAN KEEPS COOL
Marian bought a fan and carries it from room to room to keep cool.
SQUAW DRESSES
Margarets beautiful squaw dress is finished. She can hardly wait
for Sunday to wear it again. Della is starting to sew her dress--
seven yards around the bottom of Uncle Leo and Aunt Elva sent these
beautiful dresses fm m New Mexico.
LYNN JUMPS ROPE
Lynn is learning to jump rope and can jump 19 or more times without
missing.
TRY-OUTS FOR BOULDER LAKE
Bob, Jan and Robbie went to the new Boulder lake for swim. They
report it is very fine. Dave C. writes "Robbie is really cute now,
and a very good baby."
PICKING RASPBERRIES
Earl., Della, Margaret and Lynn pick wild rasp berries for jam or
to eat with cream and sugar, or just to eat. The girls made jam,
for Grandpa and grandma Bushee,.for Binghams, for the Breretons,
Bob & Jan and for the C's. Wild jam is extra special
HAPPINGS AT BINGHAVEN CABIN
Swimming every day in Lake Champlain, some days two or three swims.
Every once in a while Hydro-plaine lands on the lake right in front
of us. There are motor boats on the lake on all the good days, and
a few row boats like us. Some days all row for the mail. Margy is
learning to row.
DAVE C. VISITS YEAGER CABIN
Dave was invited by Frank Y. to spend the week end at their cabin
fishing. He intends to buy a new sleeping bag.
BRUCE WALKING
Bruce isn't happy in his little room any more. He has found a whole
new world. he wants to walk all over the house. He first learned
to walk at the cabin.
